Time Alone with The Lord

We all have busy lives and tend to go with the flow of whatever happens from day to day.  I mentioned in the last devotional that the winter season is a good time to focus on the Lord and be renewed by His guidance.  It is a good way to take control  by designating a time and maybe place to be with the Lord. By doing this the Lord can work in you and your life and it is all done by talking with Him,(prayer) and reading in the Bible. It helps to make it personal. If you have a closet you can spare then you can make it your own and shut the world out. 

No closet?  Then choose a quiet time with a bible and a prayer journal that you organize with prayer and inspirational scripture.

“But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”Matt 6:6
